Terms of Use
General Information
- Individuals under age 18 cannot be transported without being accompanied by a parent, guardian or escort.
- Although all transportation requests will be attempted to be met, please allow for at least 3 business days advance notice.
This is critical when requesting vehicles that meet special needs.
- Long distance trips require a minimum of 7 business days to coordinate. Any additional charges that may be accrued could include food or overnight lodging for the driver
- All wheelchair and Geriatric Chair transports must be scheduled a minimum of 3 days in advance. Urgent and same day service is accommodated if vehicles are available, and is subject to additional charges.
- XTransit Solutions™ does exercise the right to not accept transportation requests if there are medical concerns involved due to the frailty or health status of the individual.
- Escorts and aides can be available for an additional charge. Please note that their assistance does not include medical oversight/intervention of the individual being transported.

Individuals requesting wheelchair van transportation must meet the following criteria:
- Require no medical care during transport
- Be capable of sitting in a wheelchair without assistance
- Require minimal assistance while moving in and out of a standard wheelchair
- Maintain own portable oxygen and oxygen delivery equipment
- Hospital discharges will be given priority without advanced notification, but should be scheduled with as much advance notice as possible.
Wait Time

Drivers will wait for 15 minutes during which time they will contact the individual at the telephone number indicated. If there is no answer a message will be left that states the driver is at the designated pick up address and will wait no longer than 15 minutes. The driver will leave the premises after waiting 15 minutes, and the trip will be deemed as a "no show". Individual will be charged 100% of the original transportation charge.
Cancellations for Individual/Group Local Trips
- Local individual and group trips that have received an XTS Confirmation number must be cancelled no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled date.
- Local trips cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a 50% cancellation charge.
Cancellations for Individual/Group Long Distance Trips
- Long distance individual and/or group trips must be cancelled at least seven days in advance.
- Long distance trips cancelled with less a seven day advance notice will be subject to a 25% cancellation charge. Cancellations less than 2 days notice will be subject to a 50% cancellation charge.
- Same day cancellations, or cancellations with less than 24 hour notice will be charged 75% fee of the trip.
No Shows
- Drivers will wait for 15 minutes during which time they will contact the individual at the telephone number indicated. If there is no answer a message will be left that states the driver is at the designated pick up address and will wait no longer than 15 minutes. The driver will leave the premises after waiting 15 minutes. At that time the individual will be considered a "no show" and charged 100% of the original transportation charge.
- An individual that schedules a total of 3 no show trips may be subject to discontinuance of services.
Refunds for Individual/Group Local Trips
- Customer must cancel a trip with greater than 24 hour notice to receive a 100% refund.
- Customers canceling a trip with less than 24 hour notice will receive a 50% refund.
- In place of a refund, customers can use the cash amount towards a credit for another trip. Credit must be used within 6 months of original trip refund. Credit will only equal to refund amount, not total price of original trip.
- Credits given to customers are not transferable.
- No refunds will be given for trips deemed as a "no show".
Refunds for Individual/Group Long Distance Trips
- Customer must cancel a trip with greater than a 7 day notice to receive a 100% refund.
- Customers cancelling trip with less than a 7 day notice, but greater than a 2 day notice, will receive a 75% refund. Customer cancelling trip with less than a 2 day notice will receive a 50% refund. Customers cancelling same day of scheduled trip or less than 24 hours, will receive a 25% refund.
- In place of a refund, customers can use the cash amount towards a credit for another trip. Credit must be used within 6 months of original trip refund. Credit will only equal to refund amount, not total price of original trip.
